It can always feel like life is just so expensive. As soon as we go into the dreaded adulthood life, we’re greeted with a new set of issues. In school our biggest worry was what we were going to have for dinner when we got home, and when we could next go out and do what we want. But as soon as you leave the warm embrace of school life and your home life, you start to realise how expensive things are.
Suddenly you can’t go to the shop and make the most of $5 by buying as many sweets as you possibly could. Now you can barely go to the shop and get by spending $50 on your weekly food shop. So when the sudden realisation hits you that you’re no longer supported in life, and you’ve never really had to manage money before, it can be easy to panic and lose your way a bit. Which is why we want to talk to you about some of the most expensive things that come into your life, and how you can reduce them just a little.
Our Cars
Our cars are the thing that we seem to pump the most money into. If we aren’t paying a ton of money for the tax and insurance, we seem to be filling it up every other day to keep it on the road. But that’s just on a good day. Most of you will have gone through the breakdown phase, and you’ll start to realise how expensive owning a car truly is.
Diesel cars and truck in particular seem to break down a lot as they get older, and it’s mainly due to problems with the engine. There are diesel repair services dotted all around that are specialised in fixing so many problems with diesel engines. But there’s nothing you can do to avoid that, so the thing we would suggest is have some savings behind you so that if you do ever have to have a random payout, you’ll be more than prepared for it.
Our Homes
Our homes are something we just have to accept. They cost so much to maintain, live within, and you just wouldn’t believe the amount of things that could go wrong with your home. So yes, you guessed it, you need to make sure you’ve got some savings behind you for the home as well to fall back on! Imagine your roof is leaking? You will have to call a Castle Rock roofing company or roofing professionals in your area to help you out and make the necessary repairs. It is not a option to not have money on the side, it is your obligation
But there are ways that you can easily reduce the costs around your home. You just have to be a little more conscious of what you’re spending, and think about how you are within your home that could be making your bills shoot through the roof!
Our Families
Family is definitely the biggest thing in your life. If you’ve started your own family, you’ll know that nothing compares to being able to do share the joy. But, it also comes with a big price tag. They said it takes $400,000 to raise a child until they’re 18.
So we urge you to think about all of the times you’ve brought the fanciest things for your children, and whether you could have downgraded a bit. Even from the food they eat, there’s always a cheaper version of it, that’s usually just as good!
Life in general
Take the time to free some hours in your day or during the week ,to take a break. Most importantly a mental break, just to reflect, do something that you love or just seating somewhere and do nothing. We all need to take a couple of minutes to stop for a moment, so we could be focus again. We are not design to be running like we do in our modern society but we have the capability to change our bad habits.
Why not design our week in a way that reflect how we would like to enjoy life…
- Cut your overtime if possible
- Take care of your body (gym ,healthier foods)
- Join a club (drawing,reading, walking…)
- Learn a new language
- and more…
Simplify your life to have more time to focus on the things you love.
Enjoy your day,
Stanley
