What is the Frugal Friday?
It is a term that i love to use before the week end because we are ready to go on a spending mode, have fun, family time and more… We don’t consider looking at our expenses starting friday night to monday morning.
How to look at our expenses in a way that, it is simple to go about…
Have a spending budget for the week end only. I always heard to have a spending budget but we never count that once we hit the week end, our brain is in spending mode .Most of the time ,the money that was save on the side as a spending virtual wallet, is not enough to cover all the costs encountered during our shopping madness happening every week.
What are the best tips to help us , have the best week end every week, months and years without the fear of going bankrupt before we know it.
Have a envelop system…
I did wrote a article a month ago about this topic showing us how to save in a way that it is easy to understand and implement. There is so many softwares, books and websites telling us : “do this and do that” but it is never simple and complicated most of the time. I invite you to visit my article about the envelop system this should help a lot.
Until this day, i keep using the same system to help me control my bad spending habit.

Frugal vs Money Part 1
Yes there is a part II coming soon!
Why am i reffering to this article because it is a important topic that we should take the time to reflect on. To be frugal is not a bad thing and we should at least try to be frugal in one aspect of our life and it should be around money. I’m not saying, you will not spend anymore or eat sandwiches 8 days out of 7 but to have control of your spending, knowing how much is coming in and how much is going out.
One of the best way to be frugal is to have some sort of automated system,a system in place to help you save, your employer could help you with this option. You could also do it yourself with your bank and automate the process in a way that your bills are getting paid, reccuring payments and more… Have a second debit card dedicated to your ongoing spending need during the week, so there is less chances to take money from your actual live account but rather use your spending account over the week end.

5-10-15 habits to a minimalist Life…
A aspect that we don’t talk about much but should be consider on top of the list is : What about our health!
It is always left behind but au contraire should be put right in the front of the gate… We all have those great dreams to make money, have a big house, travel,no 9-5, help the world but we never put the time on our health. We are so consume about our daily life that we forget that we do have a body to take care of, it is our foundation for now and the futur.
See in my article Point #5, why it is important to reflect and see what kind of changes or actions could be taken right away, to help better shape my health and my body. Should we go see a doctor for a checkup? Sleep earlier, drink more water, laugh more… Take 5 min with yourself and ask ” what could i improve today?”, it need to be simple nothing complex or talking going on a diet, i don’t think we should go that route for now. Simple is better.

We do love fridays, that you are a full time employee or a big boss entrepreneur …We all refer to fridays the same way, announcing the week end!
Take some money out of your envelops, your wallet, your car, your jacket in the closet, one of the drawer in the kitchen and go to any stores that sells food, snack, music or any other items… Get yourself something that will put a smile on your face and sitdown somewhere eat it, drink it, listen to it, just enjoy it …With the intention to reflect on how life is good.
Don’t want to spend any money, that’s ok! It’s a question of intention, to be in the moment, to disconnect for a second.
Even if your having a bad day, all is wrong but there is always something good for you in this world and your family. Enjoy your Fridaysss – week end in the best way you can and be safe.
